Organizing Bits and Bobbles and Brads

Organizing my supplies for my hobby has to be as much of a passion of mine as my hobby itself given how much time I end up giving to organization. It's insane.  I think I have a sickness but I'm really not interested in a cure.

I may have found my most favorite way to organize brads and other small accent items.  I love these little round containers that I found in jewelry making section of Michael's and JoAnn's.  They come in two sizes: the one shown and one twice as tall.  They have little lids that screw on and a larger plastic container in which multiple little round containers can nestler together.

I much prefer these to the tackle box style compartment containers as the little items are trapped in their container and can't migrate into the next bin.  Plus, when I want to get a certain item out, I can just take that container and tip it. If I did that with a tackle box style container, I'd get a big mess.

Below are four large flats off these continers in one of my Steralite drawers with a smidgen of room to spare at the side.

I have some of these Steralite containers under my desk and are so easy to access when I'm working on a project.

Thank You Blossoms

I made this card about a year ago when I first jumped into Copic Markers.  This was actually my first card that I colored using my Copics.  I was limited in my color selection so I was thrilled when Stampin' Up's Cameo Coral cardstock seemed to match perfectly.

Stamps: Stampin' Up (Growing Green and unknown set for greeting)
Coloring: Memento Ink, Copic markers
Papers: Stamin' Up Cardstock, Creative Memories printed paper
Tools: Stampin' Up Punches, We R Memory Keppers corner chomper
Accessories: Misc Ribbon, Stampin' Up Dimensionals.

Simply Flippies

We often call these summer friendly shoes "flippies" at our house.  Given that the heat index hasn't been under 100 in about two weeks now, this card seems seasonally appropriate.

It's a CAS (Clean and Simple) card.   I use Hammermill 100 lb weight cardstock for my white card bases.   The stamp is from Stampin' Up (Sunny Fun) and colored with Stampin' Up markers.   I then scored some white lines at both the top and bottom of the card using a score board.   Lastly, I grabbed a scrap of Stampin' Up Pool Party cardstock and punch a border using a Martha Stewart punch.  I then cut that border in half and applied it to the card.

Simply flippy fun!
